ICONIC Lubricants was Brazil’s largest lubricants supplier in April for the fifth time in six months even as its share of total sales fell.
Its share of close to 23pc of Brazil’s total lube sales in April fell from more than 25pc the previous month, according to IBP.
Brazil’s lube consumption of 88,200mᶟ (78,130t) in April fell from a one-year high of 111,260mᶟ the previous month.
Moove was the country’s second-largest lube supplier with a share of close to 22pc of the total, up from less than 20pc in March.
Its 21.6pc share of Brazil’s lube consumption in the first four months of the year rose from 20.5pc in all of 2022 and close to 19pc in 2021.
Vibra Energia was Brazil’s third-largest supplier with a share of little more than 20pc of the total.
Raizen was the fourth-largest supplier, and Petronas the fifth largest.
