Poland’s base oils exports to Ukraine rose in March to their highest in years, helping to cover for a halt in in supplies to the country from Russia.Base oils exports of more than 3,200t to Ukraine in February rose from 2,630t the previous month and from around 700t the same time a year earlier, government data showed.The volume was the highest in more than a decade and up from typical levels of less than 900 t/month in 2021.The rise in shipments to Ukraine cut slightly the volume available for other outlets in Europe.The rise in shipments also partially countered the loss of supplies from Russia.
