Germany’s domestic and overseas lube demand rose in February to a three-month high amid a seasonal pick-up in Europe’s consumption.Domestic lube consumption of 57,630t in February rose from 52,110t the previous month and from a more-than-eight-year low of less than 40,000t in December, government data showed.The increase mostly reflected a rebound in engine oils consumption.Lubricant exports of 77,240t in February rose from 72,110t the previous month.Total domestic and overseas demand of 134,870t in February was the highest since November.Consumption remained weaker than usual, falling 19pc in February from year-earlier levels.The last time demand rose from year-earlier levels was in June 2021..Spain’s February lube demand rises
